Fourth of July

This year, I celebrated my second fourth of July with my boyfriend and his family, again. This time around was a lot more fun. Why? We had 90$+ worth of fireworks and managed to get some illegal ones, too. Which kind of made fireworks a little more fun. Though, I don't understand why the ones we had were illegal anyways, they weren't that spectacular and one of them was just loud.
The alien ones up front were roman candles? They were really pretty because they shot out like 10 flares and sparkles one at a time. I enjoyed them. I especially enjoyed the mortars. They were the one fireworks that we had that actually exploded looked really pretty in the sky. They're ones that Disneyland uses (which is why they are illegal for us to have)? because they're far more nicer than the little flash fountains that we mainly had from our fireworks kit.

All in all, it was a fun night.
I took a lot of photos on my 35mm Holga, so I hope the photos look really nice or even turn out when I eventually go develop them.

As a Canadian though, I will always think Canada Day is better than July 4th. And I really want to prove that to my boyfriend some day by bringing him to my hometown one year for Canada Day. And going to the park with basically the entire town to eat carnival food, go on small carnival rides and then set up where we sit and just watch the beautiful fireworks show like I used to with my friends each year. And then walking to the super packed Dairy Queen afterwards to get frozen treats before we go home.

Oh, the memories~
