
- blender of some sorts (I use a Magic Bullet)
- watermelon
- ice
* you can also add sugar to make it sweeter (I didn't)
Make sure the amount you use, you'll drink or share. Try not to waste anything!
Put all the watermelon into the blender along with the ice (and sugar if you choose to add this). If you're using a smaller blender unit like the Magic Bullet, you have to put a couple of pieces of watermelon and ice cubes in first, blend, and then put some more to blend. You can blend it until it's completely smooth, or have slushie texture (where all the ice isn't completely melted) like I do. Serve and enjoy on a hot summer day.


Watermelon is great for detoxing your body. It detoxes your liver, intestines, bladder, and gives your body a nice cleanse. It also contains natural sugars which makes it sweet, which is why I don't add sugar, but you can if you want. (: If you are watching your sugar intake though, don't eat a whole watermelon!
This is actually a drink my mom used to make for my sister and I on hot summer days when we were little. So I thought I'd share it with you.
